We offer a cage-free boarding an daycare service designed for social dogs to play and have fun. When your pooch comes to stay, they get the same attention and freedom they would have at your home…but with a few other furry friends to make it more fun!
But safety is our primary goal, and unfortunately boarding and daycare service is not for every dog.
Howles Mountain Ranch has strict temperament standards, and is not a place for aggressive dogs to learn how to be social.
To present date, we’ve maintained ZERO INCIDENTS of Dog-on-Dog altercations resulting in injury.

Howles Mountain Ranch is the ultimate vacation destination for your pooch. Your pup will access vast amenities. We have dog beds in every room, plenty of fresh water, and lots of time to play and explore outside in our suburban oasis full of fresh green grass and lush landscaping.
We are located near Cowles Mountain, one of San Diego’s most popular hiking trails, and which we used as inspiration for our name!
RATES
Overnight Boarding – $40 per dog/per day
- We pick-up/drop-off at your home (two night minimum stay)
DayCare – $30 (8 hour limit)
- Available with limited capacity
- Client pick-up/hand-off
